During an initiative by police officers from the Netivot police station, which took place over the weekend in the city, officers noticed near the police square a vehicle driving unusually on its rims, with sparks seen coming out of it as it drove.

The police signaled the driver to stop, but he did not obey their instructions and began to drive away quickly.

The police began a pursuit of the vehicle, at the end of which the driver and his two passengers were arrested.

The investigation revealed that there were three boys in the vehicle - aged 14-15 - including a 14-year-old driver who was not licensed to drive.

All those involved were detained and transferred for further investigation to Netivot station.

Netivot Station Commander, Sgt. Adi Buhbot: "Driving by minors without a driver's license is a serious and dangerous phenomenon, which could end in a major disaster. The vigilance and quick response of the Netivot Station police officers prevented further real risk to road users.".
