As part of the expansion of the weapons reform led by the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, three cities and a regional council have been approved as localities eligible for a personal weapons license.
The decision was made after staff work and a professional examination by the Israel Police, and the professionals in the Firearms Licensing and Supervision Division.
Following the decision, citizens in these localities will be eligible to apply for a license, subject to meeting the criteria and conditions set forth in the law.
The new localities join dozens of localities across the country that have already been designated as areas eligible for weapons as part of the reform led by Minister Ben Gvir.
