Closing the loop: The IDF and Shin Bet announced today (Monday) that they killed Saba'i Zuhair Abd al-Hamid Abu Hasna, a Nuhba terrorist in the military wing of Hamas - who took part in holding the kidnapped Omar Shem Tov captive - in the northern Gaza Strip over the weekend.
Abu Hasna participated in the October 7 massacre and raided the territory of the State of Israel.
According to the IDF and Shin Bet, during the war he was involved in planting explosives and recently tried to promote terrorist plots against IDF forces operating in the Gaza Strip.
Abu Hasna became famous after during the ceremony for the release of Omar Shem Tov from Hamas captivity, Shem Tov was filmed next to him. In the same footage, Shem Tov is seen kissing the terrorist's head, after one of the terrorists forced him to do so.
The IDF and Shin Bet noted that in another attack carried out in the northern Gaza Strip, three armed Hamas terrorists were eliminated, who were trying to promote terrorist plots against IDF forces operating in the area.
