In accordance with the government's decision: the communities of Sde Eliezer, Kasra-Samia, Yesod Hama'ala, Or HaGanuz, Meron, Bar Yochai, Safsofeh (Kfar Hoshen), Beit Jan and Hulata have been recognized as conflict line communities - and they will join the list of communities eligible for benefits and assistance provided to conflict line communities.

Defense Minister Yisrael Katz informed the heads of authorities about the decision and its implications for the residents of the localities.

Katz: "This is an important and just decision that grants the residents of these communities the due recognition and rights accompanying their status as conflict line communities.".

""The residents of the north have been standing on the front lines for a long time, and it is their steadfast stance that gives our heroic fighters the strength to continue their mission to protect the northern communities.".

""The lesson from recent years is clear: a strong settlement is a security asset of the highest order.

"Under the leadership of Prime Minister Netanyahu, we will continue to work for the communities and residents of the north and ensure that they receive the full support they deserve.".
