MK Simcha Rotman, chairwoman of the Knesset's Constitution Committee, today (Monday), in an interview on the Be'er TV channel, harshly criticized Judge Yitzhak Amit - against the backdrop of the discussion of petitions against changing the composition of the committee for selecting judges.
"Yitzhak Amit is impudent and lacks self-awareness," Rothman attacked. "He is an extreme left-wing politician. He, Dafna Barak-Erez, and unfortunately Solberg have no integrity.".
He claims, "They sit and discuss their own issues. Some of the Supreme Court justices are full-blown politicians.".
