Mansour Abbas's Ra'am party, which represents the Islamic Movement-Southern Faction in the Knesset, inaugurated a branch of the party in the Muslim settlement of Kafr Manda.
The branch inauguration ceremony was held under the title "Kfar Manda Towards Greater Influence," and was attended by the chairman of the Ra'am MK Mansour Abbas, members of the party's Knesset - including Iman Khatib Yassin and Yasser Hajirat - the chairman of the local council, Ali Khader Zidan, and other public figures.
The speakers at the event emphasized that the elections are a crucial milestone for Arab society, and therefore RAAM strives to replace the Netanyahu-Ben Gvir government with a 'government of change', in which it will be a partner and influence decision-making.
They also noted that the goal is to promote solutions to problems that are troubling Arab society, primarily the fight against crime, housing problems, recognition of unrecognized localities, transfer of budgets to Arab localities, and more.
RAAM representatives called on participants at the event to support the party, saying that strengthening its power means a greater ability to influence policymaking and bring achievements to Arab society.
