Bennett responded to the publication in a statement he issued this evening: Bennett: The publication is incorrect. The only way to win is a united bloc.
The whole bloc needs to be unified.
Last week, it was reported that senior figures in Bennett's campaign spoke harshly towards Lapid, even calling him a "terrorist.".
There have been allegations in Bennett's circle that Yair Lapid "smuggled away" right-wing voters who supported Bennett, while strategist Lior Horev, who was recently appointed to the position, is having difficulty extricating the party from the crisis.
According to party sources, significant clashes have occurred between the campaign leaders, a situation that may require Bennett to make decisions soon.
