Ehud Barak, the former prime minister who was ousted from power after about a year and a half, said this morning (Sunday) in an interview with the program "This Morning" on Channel 2 that "if Netanyahu tries to sabotage the elections, and if he tries to do that, there will be no choice but to expel him with sticks and stones.".
Barak explained: "He might do it, it's very easy to do it. Surprise in Nabatieh, they're reacting, we're operating in Dahiyeh - and we have a war with Iran and there are no elections.".
The interviewer did not ask what would happen if the left were to try to sabotage the elections.
The chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, MK Boaz Bismuth, responded: "Ehud Barak is starting a week by promoting a conspiracy and legalizing violence against Prime Minister Netanyahu.
""This terrible man who floated the bodies of Jews in the Yarkon, who called for civil disobedience and lost all humanity, continues to break records and break through every glass ceiling on his way to occupying the role of the crazy one of the era. Send him to a psychiatrist, and if he is mentally competent, immediately open a criminal investigation against him.".
