A heated confrontation broke out today (Monday) in the Constitution Committee between MK Yasmin Friedman of Mish Atid and Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
Is 100,000 NIS right for you before Shavuot? Last hours for the big lottery!
Friedman launched an attack: "I have no idea what your Shabbat was like, mine was hell. Because of a group of young, sadistic, crazy settlers who insist day after day on crushing skulls, running over animals and abusing them.".
The minister responded angrily: "Since 'The Protocols of the Elders of Zion' there haven't been such anti-Semitic blood libels, actually, since the blood libels of the 100th Force. Yesterday we buried another heroic settler on Mount Herzl. You won't talk like that about the settlers.".
Friedman shouted: "I will speak however I want. You don't tell me how to speak! I'm not a writer. I will say whatever I want!".
Smotrich retorted: "These are anti-Semitic blood libels. Shame on you. You are a shame to the people of Israel, you are a shame to the Israeli Knesset, you are a shame to the left in Israel. You are spreading anti-Semitic blood libels against the best public in the State of Israel, the most volunteer, the most pioneering, the most heroic. There are libels that you can't even hear.".
