President Donald Trump told Bloomberg News on Monday evening that the ceasefire with Iran will end in two days - on Wednesday evening, Washington time.

Earlier, President Trump published a post in which he wrote that it was not Israel that caused him to enter war with Iran.

""Israel never convinced me to go to war with Iran. Israel did not drag us into war. The results of October 7 only added to my opinion that Iran must not have nuclear weapons," the president wrote.

According to a CNN report, Vice President J.D. Vance is expected to depart Washington tomorrow for Pakistan. According to the report, citing sources familiar with the plans, a second round of talks between the American and Iranian delegations is now scheduled for Wednesday in Islamabad, but the situation remains dynamic.

The White House said that there is no official announcement at this stage about the departure date - but added: "We expect the delegation to depart soon, but it is unclear when.".

President Trump said in a telephone interview earlier today that the delegation was "already on its way" to Pakistan and that it "will be there tonight," but according to CNN, it appears that this was said too soon.

An Israeli senior official told Channel 12: "We find it difficult to see a situation in which Iran would completely abandon the nuclear project and uranium extraction.".

At the same time, a senior Iranian official said that Iran is positively considering participating in peace talks with the US, but that no final decision has yet been made on the matter.

According to a report in the New York Times, an Iranian delegation plans to arrive in Islamabad tomorrow. They say Qalibaf will attend the talks if Vice President Vance arrives.
