Following the launches, widespread alarms and warnings were activated in a long line of central cities and towns across the country, including Haifa, Tirat Carmel, Kiryat Bialik, Tiberias, Afula, Nof HaGalil, Nazareth, Migdal HaEmek, Yokneam Illit, Karmiel, Hadera, Or Akiva and Harish.
The warnings were also in the areas of the Jezreel Valley, the Lower Galilee, the southern Golan Heights, the Carmel, the Gulf, Wadi Ara, the Beit Shean Valley and the Hefer Valley.

The IDF statement stated that the army has strengthened its defense components and is on alert and prepared for a variety of scenarios, both defensive and offensive. Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and IDF commanders are currently conducting situation assessments and closely monitoring developments.
At the same time, the Home Front Command announced a significant tightening of guidelines across the country. Based on an assessment of the situation, the Home Front Command decided to change the guidelines - and to move to limited activity throughout the country in accordance with the following restrictions:
Educational activities - Educational activities are not allowed.
Gatherings - Gatherings of up to 200 people can be held in open areas and up to 500 in buildings, provided that it is possible to enter a standard protected area during the quarantine. The beaches are closed to the public.
Jobs - Activities can be held in a place from which it is possible to reach a standard protected space during the defense.
The policy is in effect from Sunday, at 10:00 PM until Monday, June 8, 2026, at 8:00 PM.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a limited security discussion this evening with the participation of Defense Minister Yisrael Katz and the heads of the defense establishment.
