Minister of Finance and member of the Political-Security Cabinet, Bezalel Smotrich, expressed condolences for the death of Rotem Yanai, the Y.D., from a Hezbollah drone strike - and called for a more escalating response in Lebanon.
""My heart is burning with pain. I would like to express my deepest condolences to the family and friends of dear Rotem Yanai, who was killed by a Hezbollah drone," Smotrich wrote.
According to him, "the only ones to blame for Rotem's death are the damned Hezbollah terrorists that we need to destroy.".
Smotrich turned to the Prime Minister and read: "You know that the only way right now to prevent harm to our soldiers is to bring down ten buildings on the rooftops of Beirut for every drone. For every drone that hits a soldier of ours, a hundred buildings must be brought down. That's simple. That's deterrent.".
He signed: "Mr. Prime Minister, let the IDF win and protect our soldiers. May her memory be blessed.".
