The IDF officially confirmed today (Thursday): In a targeted attack in the Hadahiya neighborhood of Beirut, Ahmed Ghalib Balout, commander of the "Radwan Force" unit - the elite commando unit of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, was eliminated yesterday (Wednesday).
For years, Ghalib Balut held a number of positions in the Radwan Force, including commander of the unit's operations. As part of his duties, he was responsible for the unit's readiness and alertness for combat against IDF forces and the State of Israel.
During the war and throughout the recent period in particular, Ghalib Balut directed the Radwan Force terrorists and commanded dozens of terrorist plots against IDF forces in southern Lebanon, including anti-tank firing and the use of explosive devices.
