An IDF soldier was seriously injured earlier today (Wednesday) as a result of an explosive drone strike in southern Lebanon. The soldier was taken to a hospital for medical treatment and his family has been notified.
In several incidents this afternoon, interceptors were launched at rockets and suspicious aerial targets in the area where IDF forces are operating in southern Lebanon.
The IDF said: "There were no casualties among our forces. According to policy, no alerts were activated.".
Earlier, Hezbollah briefly launched explosive drones and several rockets at IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon. The attack included several different incidents in which the organization attempted to harm fighters in the field.
During the events, two explosive drones fell near forces operating in the area. As a result of the falls, two IDF fighters were moderately and lightly injured.
The injured fighters were immediately evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital.
