The Israel Police received reports of break-ins to the Bnei Brak municipality building on July 10 and July 17.
During the events, damage was caused to property inside the building, to the offices and to the equipment on site. In addition, a large amount of property was stolen from the municipality offices, including a tablet and dozens of mobile phones.
Upon receiving the reports, police officers from the Bnei Brak police station began conducting investigative actions to locate the suspects, and later police officers from the Tel Aviv District Central Unit joined the investigation.
During the undercover investigation, using technological means, the police were able to identify the suspects - two 16-year-old boys, residents of central Israel - and on August 2 they were arrested.
During the search of their apartment, the police seized a tablet and mobile phones, which were suspected to have been stolen during the outbreaks.
The suspects' detention was extended in court, and today, the Tel Aviv District Youth Prosecution Unit filed serious indictments against them for outbursts, conspiracy to commit a crime, and damage to property.
A request was also submitted to detain the suspects until the end of the proceedings.
