A video showing a father at his son's circumcision ceremony, getting confused by the name and causing the mother to scream loudly, is scorching social media.
David and Lee-Yam Abba spoke tonight (Sunday) on the i24 channel about the event that made them a viral couple in the State of Israel.
At the beginning of the conversation, the proud father - David Abba - said: "Our friend's couple had a child not long ago, and they named him 'Nitai.' Before my son's baptism, I asked them several times about the name and it probably came to my mind.".
Mother Lee-Yam added: "I guess this situation stressed him out. I was shocked at that moment and screamed - my luck is that the mohel didn't repeat the wrong name. The name we chose was Nevo.".
Later, she spoke about the reactions she received to the video: "People laughed - and at the same time there were extreme reactions, which we chose to ignore.".
