
Over the past weekend, Judea Region police officers focused their activity throughout their district, as they do every week, on the issue of improper use of prohibited vehicles - motorized vehicles - which pose a danger to life and, among other things, for committing criminal and other offenses.
Over the weekend, Hebron police officers in the Tarqumiya area located 44 'mashtobots', the use of which is completely prohibited since these are vehicles that are not suitable for traffic at all, mainly in terms of safety.
A total of 53 such defective vehicles were located and seized in the area, and they were transferred to a storage yard, before being transferred for destruction.
At the same time, last weekend there was also a focus on the issue of serious traffic offenses, as part of a persistent and ongoing fight against traffic accidents and recidivist drivers.
Over the past few days, 118 drivers who were breaking the law were caught, and uncompromising enforcement was carried out against them. 20 of these drivers had their driver's licenses revoked after a hearing conducted by a police officer, and 15 vehicles were administratively impounded.
