
Last night, late at night, a report was received at the police hotline about stones being thrown at the Armenian Church in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Upon receiving the report, David Area Police were called to the scene and began extensive searches, with the assistance of Mabat 2000 police officers, and were able to locate six suspects - five minors and an adult, who are suspected of spitting at the church and throwing stones at it.
The suspects were arrested and interrogated in the David area.
At the end of the investigation, 3 of the suspects were brought before the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court with a request to extend their detention.
The other suspects were released under restrictive conditions, including being banned from the Old City.
