Trump's zigzag and humiliation from Iran: Media figure and strategist Shlomo Filber commented this morning (Sunday) on the announcement by United States President Donald Trump that he had canceled a powerful attack on Iran last night - at the request of the regime in Tehran and the request of other countries.

- Trump understands that the Iranians are playing with him, he also understands that the nuclear danger remains and that it remains his responsibility.
- Trump learned too late, on the eve of the 'Harry's Roar' war and afterwards, that his 'allies' in the Gulf are a broken reed - Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia. They have not helped and are also afraid for their infrastructure, and are pressuring the US to reach an agreement/and protect them.
- Hormuz, more than the nuclear issue, has become a test for Trump, whether he is the strong man and the world's policeman. The Iranians know it and are playing into it.
- Trust and sympathy for Trump in Israel has dropped dramatically. Israelis understand that there is work left to do to eliminate the nuclear threat in Iran and that we will have to complete it ourselves in due course.
- It is more likely that Trump will continue to struggle between his lost honor, the need to open the straits, and keeping oil prices low until the midterm elections in November.
