Tragedy at Bat Yam Beach: 60-year-old Haredi man in critical condition after being pulled from the water without a pulse

Disasters between times: A 60-year-old Haredi was pulled from the water near Sunset Beach in Bat Yam at noon (Friday) without a pulse and without breathing.

According to reports from the scene, the man drowned while swimming in the sea and rescuers were able to rescue him from the water.

Rescue forces called to the scene performed CPR on him, after which he was taken to the hospital - in critical condition.

Shmuel Malka, head of the Bat Yam branch of the United Hatzalah, along with paramedics Yaakov Ladkani and Oral Zedah, described the dramatic moments: "We were told at the scene that he had drowned and was pulled from the water by rescuers. We performed CPR on him, and then he was taken to the hospital while CPR continued, in critical condition.".
