Four days after the murderous attack near Havat Gilad, in which Major Yuval Ezra and Sergeant (res.) Benyahu Melat were murdered, the IDF announced that starting tomorrow (Tuesday), Palestinian workers will once again be allowed to enter communities in Judea and Samaria - in accordance with the procedures for securing workers in industrial areas and communities.
The decision was made following a situation assessment, just a day after the commander of the Central Command, Major General Avi Balut, ordered the workers to be banned from entering Israeli communities throughout Judea and Samaria.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir responded: "The refusal of the commander of the Central Command to allow the return of 'Palestinian' workers to work in the communities of Judea and Samaria is a serious mistake, which could cost us the precious blood of Jews. I call on the Prime Minister to order the Chief of Staff to immediately cancel Major General Balut's decision, which sends a message of surrender to terror.".
