Amit Segal, Channel 12's political commentator, estimates that Prime Minister Netanyahu wants to cancel the Likud primaries - and that all the proposals he put forward in the party's constitution committee were aimed at this.
""Any sensible person who follows Netanyahu's announcement, which authorizes him to cancel the primaries, not only if there is a war on the day of the primaries, but also causes the conferences leading up to them to be canceled. This event is racing towards a regulatory committee," Segal claimed in an interview with 103FM.
According to him, "Netanyahu does not want the primaries to take place. Many more people want Netanyahu and not his list.".
