The IDF and Shin Bet attacked in the southern Gaza Strip on Tuesday, killing the terrorist Wahid Abu Salam - who previously served as commander of the Western Company in Khan Yunis.
During the October 7 massacre, Salam raided Israeli territory and took part in the kidnapping of Israeli civilians to the Gaza Strip.
He also took part in holding them captive in the southern Gaza Strip.
Recently, Salam has promoted additional terrorist plots, including an attempt to restore weapons intended to harm IDF forces operating in the area.
The terrorist posed an immediate threat to the forces and was eliminated in a precise air strike.
