Tragedy in Monsey: Lima Weber, a 7-year-old girl, was killed this morning (Wednesday) after being hit by a school bus on Belvolt Street.
Lima, may God bless her soul, is the daughter of Rabbi Israel Ephraim and Ethi Weber.
Rockland Rescue, Ramapo County Police, Friends of Rockland volunteers, and other emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene.
The medical teams began resuscitation efforts on the young girl, using every possible life-saving measure, but sadly she died from her wounds.
Volunteers from 'Chesed Shel Emet', 'Metsalchim' and 'Khavirim' from Rockland worked to ensure the daughter's dignity and assist the grieving family in their difficult time.
