The Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Mohammad Baqer Dou al-Qader, responded today (Monday) to the threat of United States President Donald Trump - against the backdrop of negotiations between the countries.
In a threatening message, D'ou al-Qadr said: "I say to the American president who threatened 91 million Iranian citizens - you, the leader of a rootless nation, have already used similar language in the past, and you spoke of the extinction of the ancient Iranian civilization, which is thousands of years old, and the result for you was only failure, despair, and a request for negotiations and a ceasefire.".
Al-Qadr said that the Iranian people will not accept threats. "The Iranian people are strangers to the language of threats. Therefore, speak to the people of Iran with respect, otherwise we will respond to you in a different language.".
Earlier today, President Trump issued an ultimatum to Tehran: "Either we make a deal or we finish the job and it won't be that hard to finish the job there. But I prefer a deal.".
He said, "The Iranians know that I can take out all their power plants by this afternoon.".
