The Minister of Defense held a multi-scene situation assessment with the Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Lt. Gen. (res.) Amir Baram, Head of the Military Intelligence Department, Head of the Military Intelligence Department, Commander of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Commander of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Operations Chief, Research Chief, Shin Bet and Mossad representatives, and other senior officials.

We emerged from the greatest disaster we have ever known, the War of the Rebirth of the State of Israel. We paid heavy prices and lost the best of our sons and daughters, and out of the pain grew a more united people and a more determined and stronger state.
In the past thousand days, Israel has changed the face of the Middle East. Led by the political echelon headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and thanks to the heroism of IDF commanders and fighters in the regular and reserve ranks, we struck at the heart of the Iranian axis of evil, thwarted the Iranian nuclear program and removed the threat of annihilation from the citizens of Israel, eliminated Iranian leader Khamenei and most of the Iranian leadership and severely damaged its strategic capabilities - and the IDF must prepare for an independent blue-and-white attack on Iran at any time necessary in order to remove any threat.
We eliminated the entire Hamas leadership that was involved in the October 7 massacre, we eliminated Hassan Nasrallah and the Hezbollah leadership, we destroyed Assad's army in Syria, we beheaded most of the Houthi leadership in Yemen, and we severely damaged all the terrorist arms that sought to surround Israel with a ring of fire.

The IDF is currently in the security zones in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria and will not withdraw from them - and the IDF must prepare for a long-term stay in the field. Our fighters are operating deep inside the terror camps in Judea and Samaria. In Gaza, the effort to destroy the tunnel infrastructure continues, and 83 percent of the tunnels in the Yellow Line area have already been destroyed. In Lebanon, Operation "Silver Plow" to destroy the terror infrastructure in the first village line continues in full force.
We will never return to a reality where our enemies are based on our borders and threaten our communities. The IDF will continue to stand as a buffer between our communities and residents and jihadist enemies. The campaign is not over yet.
