Netanyahu is demanding to secure 11 reservations for his candidates within the first 40 places on the list - a move that will significantly reduce the chances of incumbent Knesset members and district candidates being elected to a realistic seat.
According to a report by Amit Segal, Netanyahu is demanding 5 seats in the top ten - in order to change the Likud leadership.
Facing this demand is the chairman of the Likud Central Committee, Minister Haim Katz, who firmly refuses.
At this stage, no understandings were reached between Netanyahu and Katz, and the official decision on the final number of tanks was postponed until July.
