As part of the Jerusalem District's ongoing activities to strengthen governance, sovereignty, and prevent incitement, detectives from the Special Operations Division of the central unit in Jerusalem raided an educational institution in the Wadi al-Jowz neighborhood in the east of the city today.
The operational activity was carried out following targeted information received by the police, according to which educational materials suspected of being incitement content on behalf of the Palestinian Authority were being held on the school grounds.
During the search conducted by detectives at the scene, Palestinian Authority flags, scarves with similar characteristics, as well as educational materials and content from the Authority were located and seized.
Following the findings that were revealed and as part of the investigation that was opened, the director of the educational institution was detained for questioning.
