Iran - encouraged by President Trump's surrender - intensified its threats against Israel this evening (Tuesday) for what it called "violating the ceasefire in southern Lebanon 84 times over the past two days.".
The Iranian emergency command, Khatem al-Anbiya, issued a statement stating:
"The army of the Zionist terrorist entity has violated the ceasefire in southern Lebanon 84 times over the past two days, after the US President declared the end of the war - and it continues to commit crimes and massacres against the oppressed Lebanese people.".
""If the army of the Zionist entity does not cease its actions in southern Lebanon, it should expect a severe response from the powerful Iranian armed forces.".
The threat comes after the IDF reported earlier today that the Air Force intercepted several rockets launched by Hezbollah towards the area where IDF forces are operating in southern Lebanon, and later attacked and destroyed the launcher from which some of the rockets were launched.
Earlier, it was reported in Lebanon that at least 4 people were killed in several Israeli attacks in the south of the country.
Israel estimates that behind the Iranian statements is an attempt to exert pressure on the American administration to demand that Israel reduce its activities in southern Lebanon and even promote the withdrawal of forces from the region.
Doron Kadosh, the military correspondent for Galts, wrote about the threats: "In the past two days, you can count on one hand the number of Hezbollah terrorists who have been eliminated in southern Lebanon - and they are only those who approached our forces, near the Yellow Line areas where two IDF divisions are still located. Avoiding attacks in southern Lebanon in such a situation is impossible.".
