Last Thursday, Moriah police officers located five illegal residents at a work site in Jerusalem. The suspects were detained for questioning and, at the end, deported to the territories, while actions were taken to issue an administrative closure order for the site.
Yesterday, Sunday, in an initiative by Moriah police, an inspection was carried out at the work site, where three illegal residents were located and arrested after being expelled from the site on Thursday. The employer was also questioned and released on conditions.
Today, the Jerusalem District Commander, Chief Avshalom Peled, signed an administrative closure order for the site for 30 days.
Upon completion of the investigation of the suspects, the Jerusalem District Prosecution Unit filed an indictment against them and a request for detention pending proceedings - illegal entry into Israel.
