Ali Musa Dakduk, a senior commander in the terrorist organization Hezbollah, was eliminated last weekend.

This was confirmed by an IDF spokesman.

Dakdok held a number of positions in the organization and was a central knowledge center with extensive operational experience. Over the past few years, he has worked to implement terrorist plans and fight against IDF forces and the State of Israel.

Among other things, he served as the commander of the security team of the slain leader of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, Hassan Nasrallah, a commander in the "Radwan Force" unit, a commander in the operations department of the "Nasr" unit, and in charge of the infantry unit in Hezbollah.

He also commanded the "Golan File" - an operational branch responsible for establishing the organization in Syria and building military infrastructure near the border of the State of Israel. The unit was exposed by the IDF in 2019.

In 2007, he was imprisoned by the Americans after leading the kidnapping and execution of five American soldiers.

Dakduk was injured about a year and a half ago in an Israeli assassination attempt carried out in Damascus in November 2024, and his condition has been unclear since then.

In December 2023, Israel assassinated his son, Hassan Musa Dakduk, who was a member of the "Golan File.".

The IDF says that this is a significant assassination of another senior Hezbollah commander and the closing of an important circle against one of the most central perpetrators of terrorist acts against the citizens of the State of Israel, IDF forces, and even American soldiers.
