A month ago, in the afternoon, a report was received at the Israel Police's 100 hotline about a break-in at a business in the city of Tiberias.
Northern District police officers who were called to the scene launched extensive search operations and blocked off the area. Within a short time, the officers were able to locate and arrest two suspects in the act.
The investigation into the incident revealed that the two arrived at the business, broke into it through a back window and entered.
They allegedly stole hundreds of packs of cigarettes, various tobacco products, and cash from the scene, and then tried to escape.
When the police arrived, one of the suspects, who was still inside the business, entered the restroom and tried to hide bills inside the Niagara.
Upon completion of the investigation, the Tiberias North Prosecution Branch filed an indictment with the Tiberias Magistrate's Court against the two defendants, Tiberias residents aged 54 and 61, for the offenses of breaking into a building and committing theft, theft, intentional damage to property, and obstruction of justice.
