
Four Haredi children were evacuated to the hospital after feeling unwell and fainting in the Mekor Baruch neighborhood in Jerusalem.
These are a one-year-old baby, a one-year-old baby girl, a 3-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl, who were evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem while suffering from weakness.
Following the incident, an Israel Fire and Rescue Department hazardous materials monitoring team was called to the scene.
Firefighters are conducting tests on the structure to rule out or detect the presence of hazardous materials that may have caused harm to the children. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
Hadassah Medical Center reported: Two pairs of siblings, aged 3 and 1 year each - who were playing in the garden where they live, were evacuated to the pediatric emergency room at Hadassah Ein Kerem, sleepy and showing signs of weakness and apathy.
The medical and nursing staff in the pediatric emergency room are currently performing various tests. All four are fully conscious, accompanied by their parents, and will be hospitalized for observation.
