A 93-year-old and a 21-year-old were evacuated in moderate condition after being run over at the Geha intersection and the Ganot interchange.

A 93-year-old passerby was hit by a vehicle this evening (Thursday) on Jabotinsky Road in Petah Tikva, near the Geha Interchange, during the "Pelag" demonstration against the "conscription decree.".

Rescue vehicles called to the scene provided initial medical treatment to the injured man, and he was evacuated in moderate condition, with a head injury, for further treatment at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.

Rescue Chief Menachem Indig and rescue workers Nissan Wasner and Bentz Himel: "During the security of the demonstration, we were called to a pedestrian, a man suffering from a head injury, after being hit by a vehicle during a demonstration taking place at the scene.

Together with rescue and MDA paramedics, we provided him with initial medical treatment, including stopping bleeding, immobilization and dressings, and evacuated him to continue receiving medical treatment in the trauma room at Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.""

An ultra-Orthodox protester was hit by a vehicle during a demonstration on Highway 1, near the Ganot interchange.

MDA medics and paramedics provided medical treatment at the scene to a 21-year-old man in moderate condition with injuries to his limbs and head, and he was taken to Shamir-Assaf Harofeh Hospital.

A paramedic from the MDA motorcycle unit, Eran Carmel, and an emergency medical paramedic at MDA, Itamar Kahane, said: "We saw the injured man conscious and suffering from injuries to his head and limbs, after being hit by a vehicle during a demonstration. We provided him with advanced medical treatment and evacuated him to the hospital in moderate and stable condition.""
