The "Hand Holding Hand" Affair: Minister Miki Zohar was questioned today (Sunday) under police warning, on suspicion of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust in the Histadrut corruption affair.
The police statement said: "The National Fraud Investigations Unit (NFIU) at Lahav 433 today summoned a serving minister for questioning at Lahav, as part of the investigation into the Histadrut affair (the "Hand Shakes Hand" affair), and he is now giving his version.".
Minister Miki Zohar referred to his police interrogation: "I arrived this morning to answer all the questions and refute all the claims that will be raised. Any attempt to tie me to the so-called 'Histadrut affair,' in which hundreds of witnesses were questioned, will not succeed, and of course I have no connection to the story.".
""Friendships with different people cannot make me a suspect. I have no doubt that the full answers I provide will refute everything and make it clear that I have nothing to do with the affair.".
