Fighters from the 13th Battalion of the Golani Brigade, operating under the 7th Brigade combat team, have completed an exciting operational cycle in southern Lebanon.

According to the IDF, the two terrorists carried out the terror plot against the forces of the battalion in which Lifshitz fell.
The raid was conducted in the midst of the day of Tubal the Great's funeral.
The commander of Battalion 13, Lieutenant Colonel M., emphasized the importance of returning to the scene: "We are two days after the event, on the day of the funeral. The platoon, the same company, returned together with the entire TZAKH to fight at the same point, at the same place.".
He added: "Together with several other fighters, we eliminated the terrorist right in this room.".
