IDF forces in the Northern Command have been operating in southern Lebanon in recent months against the terrorist organization Hezbollah, to eliminate threats to the State of Israel.
During the forces' activities in the area, thousands of infrastructures used by Hezbollah were located - including: headquarters, staging posts, launch sites, observation posts, underground infrastructures and numerous weapons.
""Over the years, the terrorist organization Hezbollah has established its activities in the rural areas of southern Lebanon, embedded terrorist infrastructure in the heart of the civilian population, and turned it into a space of significant value for its military activity, while cynically exploiting and putting Lebanese residents at risk," the IDF says.
