Attacks in Lebanon: The IDF began targeted attacks in southern Lebanon this afternoon (Wednesday) - "in response to a blatant violation by the terrorist organization Hezbollah.".
Earlier, the IDF issued an evacuation warning to residents of the village of Al-Mansouri in southern Lebanon, following what it described as "a violation of the ceasefire by the terrorist organization Hezbollah.".
A statement issued in Arabic by an IDF spokeswoman said: "In light of Hezbollah's violation of the ceasefire, the Israel Defense Forces were forced to act forcefully against it.".
The announcement emphasized that the IDF has no intention of harming civilians.
As part of the warning, the village's residents were called to immediately evacuate their homes and move north at least a thousand meters, toward open areas, until further notice.
The IDF added and warned: "Anyone who is near Hezbollah operatives, its facilities or its weapons is putting their lives at risk.".
This is the first evacuation notice issued by the IDF to residents of southern Lebanon in many weeks - since the ceasefire came into effect.
