A quick response by police officers from the Iron Station prevented a disaster today (Wednesday) - after a report was received of a toddler locked inside a closed vehicle.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police noticed the toddler in distress, his face red and it was obvious that his life was in danger.

Given the situation, they decided to act immediately and smashed the car window.

After the vehicle was opened, the toddler was safely rescued and taken for a medical examination.

His condition was described as good.

The police emphasized that this is another reminder of the importance of vigilance on the part of parents and drivers, especially during hot summer days. The police are calling on the public to make sure at the end of each trip that the vehicle is empty of all passengers, and not to leave children in the car unattended - not even for a short time.
