
A 5-year-old girl fell this evening (Sunday) from a height in a playground on Shevat Street in the ultra-Orthodox Ganei Ayalon neighborhood.
Rescue forces called to the scene provided her with initial medical treatment and she was evacuated in moderate condition, with a head injury, for further treatment at Shamir-Assaf Harofeh Hospital in Tzirifin.
Ayalon Rescue Area Manager Shmulik Levison and paramedic Naftali Galant, who were the first to arrive at the scene, said: "When we arrived at the scene with an MDA ambulance that we are manning, we found a 5-year-old girl suffering from a head injury after falling from a height of about 2 meters. We provided her with initial medical treatment, which included immobilization and dressings, and evacuated her in moderate condition to continue receiving medical treatment in the trauma room at Shamir - Assaf Harofeh Hospital in Tzirifin.""
