Because it opens on Saturday? Investigators at the Bnei Brak police station opened an investigation in May after receiving a report of the arson of the Bandita cafe on Uziel Street in Ramat Gan.
Later, during June, the cafe was set on fire again, and at the beginning of July it was set on fire again.
As part of the investigation, which was assigned to the Dan Region Crime Fighting Unit, a variety of findings and evidence were collected, which led to the revelation of the identities of the three suspects.
Last week, the suspects - residents of the ultra-Orthodox city of Beitar Illit, ages 16, 19, and 23 - were arrested and brought in for questioning, at the end of which they were imprisoned.
Their detention was extended from time to time.
The investigation findings indicate that the three acted together. Two days before the third arson attack, which occurred on July 1, the three rented a room in a Tel Aviv hotel, where they made preparations for the act.
On the night of the arson, they filled a bottle with gasoline and drove to the cafe. The 23-year-old suspect waited in the car while the other two suspects got out. The 19-year-old suspect poured the gasoline at the entrance to the place, and the 16-year-old minor suspect lit the gasoline with a lighter, which he also forgot at the scene of the incident.
The three then fled the scene. The arson caused damage to the cafe.
Upon completion of the investigation, a prosecutor's statement was filed on Tuesday, and the suspects' detention was extended until tomorrow.
The Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office intends to file an indictment against them.
