Disasters between times: A 17-year-old boy, a resident of Jerusalem, was brought to the Ziv Medical Center in Safed by rescue forces in moderate condition after the Razor SUV he was riding in overturned near the settlement of Meron.
Upon arrival at the trauma room, the boy underwent a series of tests and medical evaluation, and is later expected to enter the operating room.
The Ziv Medical Center reported that every year, during the "in-between" period, there is an increase in the number of injuries resulting from accidents involving SUVs and specialized vehicles.
“"We urge the public to drive responsibly, wear seat belts, use appropriate protective equipment, and avoid dangerous driving or driving that is not adapted to the terrain conditions. Adhering to safety rules can prevent serious injuries and save lives.".
