Following this, an investigation was opened by police investigators.
The investigation revealed the suspicion that the mother had given her son illegal and dangerous substances during his hospitalization, thereby causing his condition to significantly worsen. Investigators conducted investigations and collected additional evidence, which raised the suspicion that this was not a one-time incident.
It is suspected that the mother had harmed her son in the past and had given him medication that caused his medical condition to deteriorate and worsen, leading to his hospitalization.
The investigation also revealed that in the current case, the mother allegedly gave him a disinfectant while he was hospitalized.
With the completion of the investigation and the formation of the evidentiary infrastructure, the Jerusalem District Attorney's Office filed a statement of claim against the suspect yesterday. The court extended her detention until July 30, when an indictment and a request for her detention until the end of the proceedings are expected to be filed.
