The chairman of the left-wing party 'Yashar', Gadi Eisenkot, was interviewed this evening (Sunday) on 'Kan Hades', where he addressed the upcoming elections - and his disappointment with the Shas party.
The leader of the Left Party said: "Lebanon, Lapid, Lieberman, Golan, Hendel and Troeper and other Zionist parties - we have a common goal: to bring good news to Israel, to bring a government and a coalition as broad as possible. Now, it is too early to say what the future coalition will look like, we are striving to reach at least 63 seats.".
Eisenkot was asked if he had sat with Aryeh Deri and replied: "He is a very negative figure in the Israeli leadership. I would be very happy to see other leaders in Shas. I have seen leaders like Moshe Arbel and others, I would be happy for them to lead this party. I think he is leading to a very bad place, beyond the fact and the desire to restore Atara to its former glory and take care of vulnerable populations in the State of Israel. I see what is guiding him. And the most despicable thing - to see him last week leading the move to evasion.".
