Two of the party leaders in the left-wing bloc claim that Yisrael Beiteinu Party Chairman, MK Avigdor Lieberman, declared in their ears: "It's my turn to be prime minister" - in the event of a minority government.
According to a report this evening (Sunday) by Shapira on 'Kan News', the party leaders spoke about two separate meetings that took place a few weeks ago, in private, in which they raised with Lieberman the possibility of forming a minority government solely for the purpose of replacing Netanyahu - and then going to the polls.
Lieberman replied: "If that's the scenario - it's my turn to be Prime Minister.".
Lieberman responded: "A lie and a falsehood, these are things that have never been said. There is no option for a minority government, not even for a single second.".
