Jerusalem police arrested two minors, residents of the Old City, on suspicion of a racially motivated attack by an ultra-Orthodox man, which was recorded with the aim of spreading it on social media.
On July 15th, at night, a report was received of an assault in the Nablus Gate area of Jerusalem, during which it is suspected that several minors, residents of the Old City, attacked an ultra-Orthodox man, documented the act, and distributed the footage on social media.
The police investigation and the assistance of Jerusalem View observers revealed that one of the suspects approached the victim on an electric scooter, without any prior provocation, and spat at him, while the second suspect recorded the attack using his mobile phone.
Upon receiving the report, police officers from the Shalem police station in the Jerusalem district acted quickly, located the two suspects and arrested them shortly after the incident.
During the search, the mobile phone of one of the suspects was seized, and a video documenting the attack was found on it.
