Earlier today (Sunday), as part of the Border Guard's operational preparations for the Tishrei events in Jerusalem, Border Guard soldiers carried out targeted activity to thwart the infiltration of illegal residents and locate them.
During the activities of the fighters of the Metilaan unit at the Jerusalem Border Police throughout the city, a bus was located that aroused the fighters' suspicion.
In an inspection conducted by the forces, 15 suspects were located there, and after checking their identities, it became clear that they were residents of Judea and Samaria who were staying in the State of Israel illegally and without residence permits.
The 15 illegal residents were transferred for further treatment.
