The Iranian Intelligence Ministry published today (Wednesday) an official document detailing the list of "hostile elements" within the framework of implementing the law to increase the punishment for espionage and collaboration with Israel.
The document, published in Iran's official newspaper, includes, among other things, a list of "hostile media figures," which includes Israeli journalists, alongside Iranian opposition activists.
Among the names appearing on the list are journalists Amit Segal, Yossi Melman and Raz Zimet. Alongside the journalists is Reza Pahlavi, the son of the last Iranian Shah.
According to the document, transmitting information, photos, or videos to individuals on the list could lead to prosecution, and in some cases even prison sentences, in accordance with Iranian law.
Amit Segal commented on the publication and wrote: "Apparently I did something right after all: It turns out that Iranian intelligence put me on the list of people whose contact with them could lead to many years of imprisonment.
""The list published by the Intelligence Ministry included the names of a number of 'hostile' media outlets and journalists, including Yosef Haddad, Emily Schrader, and your faithful servant.".
He added humorously: "To the Israelis here, you are still allowed to give me information. To the Iranians, leave, don't put yourself in danger.".
