A particularly unusual event occurred last night on Ayla Hasson's program on 'Kan News', when she spoke with Shahar Glick, the channel's political correspondent, about the day's events.
Towards the end of the conversation, Glick tried to promote the mandate survey that was to be published later in the channel's main edition, but Hasson silenced him: "Forgive me, but me and the surveys... are simply deceiving the public.".
Hasson emphasized: "I'm not talking about this or that survey, in America or Israel or all over the world, surveys are designed for one thing - to steal the public's attention. Everything else doesn't matter, I saw very difficult things with my own eyes.".
The presenter warned that the entire purpose of the polls is to scare the public about all sorts of scenarios and thus skew the election outcome. "Enough," she said. "Let the public know, we're after 3 years of war, there's no need to inflame the differences between us.".
