An officer at the Abu Kabir detention center shared today (Thursday) with the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, about the change that he said has occurred in the policy towards security prisoners in the prisons.

During the meeting, the officer told the minister: "There is zero patience today, government, and for that you deserve respect.".

He said that the reality was completely different in the past - and he told of an incident from the early 2000s, when he served as a guard at the Hadarim detention center.

""There was a guarded wing, Wing Three, where there were damn terrorists, if it was from the Park Hotel's delivery people. Before their holiday, they would receive the vegetables and fruits, and if they didn't like them, they would return them.".

The officer added that at that time, since the terrorists were not satisfied with the goods and he had a truck driving license, he was tasked with bringing them new goods.

""They sent me to the wholesale market in Tel Aviv to bring them vegetables, fruits, and snacks. They told me: 'You have to.'".
